Head of the International Kurash Association, director of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Haidar Farmon said. - At the regular General Assembly of the OCA, which was held in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), it has been decided to include the Uzbek Kurash in the Summer Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta (Indonesia).
Our national kind of wrestling, history of which totals more than three thousand years, over the years of independence has gained a second wind. Presidential Decree "On the support of the International Kurash Association" of February 1, 1999, became an important guide for the development of this kind of fighting. Now Kurash, embodies the ideas of humanism, dignity and honor athletes, cultivated on every continent, in more than 120 countries.
Note that the wrestlers will contest the awards at the Asian Beach Games in 2016 in Vietnam, and continental forum on fighting single combats in 2017 in Turkmenistan.
