IT MINISTRY AND BEELINE SIGN MOU ON EDUCATION

The Ministry for development of information technologies and communications held an event that has a potential to bring the personnel training system in the field of IT and telecommunications to a new level.

In the framework of implementation of the Action Strategy, acting Minister Sherzod Shermatov and the Director General of “Unitel” Dmitry Shukov signed a Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of education. The new vector of partnership focuses in one of the oldest universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the Tashkent University of information technologies.

In the framework of the Memorandum, the Ministry and Beeline, giving importance to the need of transformation of TUIT into the best specialized University of Central Asia, intend to develop and implement potentially effective projects. Within the partnership, it is planned to attract world leading experts for teaching TUIT students to work on the most in-demand types of modern equipment and software.

The aim of the project is quite specific: raising the TUIT rating and its inclusion in the TOP 1,000 educational institutions in the world by 2021. To achieve this, the Ministry and Beeline plan to attract leading industry experts and best teachers of the CIS and the world on the most popular areas of ICT.
