IT MINISTRY AND IBM DISCUSS COOPERATION

On August 29, the Ministry for development of information technologies and communications held a meeting with IMB delegation led by the General Director of IBM for East Europe/Asia A. Filatov.

The meeting discussed issues of further expansion of cooperation in the sphere of introduction of modern innovative technologies in Uzbekistan.

Such directions as the technology of "smart cities", the training of highly qualified IT-specialists, software development, cloud technologies, supporting and funding startups were considered as priority areas of cooperation.

Following the meeting, the sides expressed mutual interest to continue working together and to explore the possibility of signing bilateral documents in the near future.
