On the eve of the opening of the X International Music Festival "Sharq taronalari" in Samarkand in diplomatic missions of our country is receiving views and reactions from the local public aborad.
So, the president of the "Assiomi" Italian Association of Music, member musical ensemble “Laus Nova” Francesca Evangelisti noted the following:
— For the first time our cooperation with Uzbekistan established in 2013, when students of the Republican Special Music Academic Lyceum named after Uspensky were our guests in Perugia. During the meeting, we were able to share our knowledge and abilities. This was the impetus for us to learn more about the musical life of Uzbekistan.
For our team is a great honor to perform and to present folk music of Italy at such a prestigious international music festival "Sharq Taronalari".
I am glad that during the visit to Uzbekistan, we will also have a good opportunity to see with our own eyes the magical and unique city of Samarkand, which throughout history has been a crossroads of cultures.
To convey traditional Italian music and melodies of the region of Perugia to our listeners is very great work for us. I think that thanks to the music forum, we will be able to share experiences with other participants, as well as make friends with many of them. The art is creative force that unites the hearts of people, filling them with positive energy and good.
We want to develop further cooperation with Uzbekistan - a country of talents and rich culture.
The tenth anniversary of music forum will be held on the eve of 24th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence and this is particularly symbolic. In this regard, I would like to congratulate the Uzbek people with Independence Day and wish you further development and prosperity!
