Recently, a delegation of our country took part in the international tourism exhibition JATA Tourism EXPO Japan-2015 in Tokyo.
Great interest among the participants of the event caused a national stand of Uzbekistan, where they were presented with a brochure, printed and video materials, articles of national applied arts, travel guides, revealing the beauty and attractiveness of the republic as a country of world tourist destination.
During the fair, it noted that Uzbekistan is among the ten countries - the world’s leaders in the number of historical landmarks. Visitors were familiarized with the great tourism potential of the republic, the favorable conditions created for travelers and of the country’s efforts to improve tourism infrastructure.
The variety and originality of national musical art of Uzbekistan at the exhibition presented the folk group "El Merosi" speech which daily work graced the exposure of the country.
During the fair, together with the Japan Association of Travel Agents, Office program UNWTO Silk Road seminar Business to Business (B2B). During his representatives of Uzbekistan and Japan discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in this field. In particular, the Uzbek tour companies offered new travel packages for our country, including the routes of the ancient cities of the Great Silk Road.
Total national stand of Uzbekistan, was attended by over 5000 people. In particular, the wife of Prime Minister of Japan, a member of the Association of Friendship "Uzbekistan-Japan" Akie Abe closely acquainted with the Uzbek exposition of folk crafts.
A.Abe noted that our countries are bound by historical ties of friendship and cultural and humanitarian interchange from the times of the Great Silk Road. She stressed that experiencing warm feelings and respect for the people of Uzbekistan.
