Ceremony of signing documents took place after the meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the SCO.
This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following the Summit, the Qingdao Declaration was adopted, a number of documents were signed.
One of the important events of the summit became the adoption, at the proposal of the President of Uzbekistan, of a Joint Appeal of the Heads of States of the SCO to Youth.
The Director of the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov was appointed to the post of the SCO Secretary-General. Representative of Tajikistan Jumakhon Giyosov was appointed director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the SCO.
The chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was transferred to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
