A group of journalists of Turkey arrived in our country according to the agreement reached during the state visit of the President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Turkey on October 25-26 this year.
The guests, who arrived in the morning on November 28 by a recently opened flight of Uzbekistan Airways Samarkand – Istanbul – Samarkand, were solemnly met at Samarkand International Airport.
The deputy khokim of Samarkand region on the issues of tourism M.Voseyev and the khokim of Samarkand F.Rakhimov welcomed the guests and noted that cooperation between our countries is developing in all areas, including in the sphere of tourism.
The journalists of Turkey, noting the convenience of direct flight from Istanbul to Samarkand, expressed gratitude for the opportunity for citizens of the two countries.
According to the program of the trip, the guests visited the world famous Registan complex, Mirzo Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tilla-Kori madrassas. An exhibition of national craftsmanship products that was organized here made a great impression on them.
The journalists of Turkey visited the mausoleum of Amir Temur, the complexes of Shahi Zinda and Imam Maturidi, received information about the ongoing activity on improvement of places related to life and work of great scientists and historical personalities.
The guests will visit Bukhara today.
