Joint Stock Company "Uzbektelecom" jointly with the Chinese company Huawei held the modernization of IP / MPLS of "TSHTT" network branch, by lifting speed on the main level of up to 100 Gbit / s based on a new transport network DWDM. The new network will connect all parts of the city of Tashkent on high-speed optical channels.
It should be noted that this is the first network of IP / MPLS, operating at speeds up to 100 Gb/s in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The project has expanded the bandwidth of backbone network data by ten times, ensuring users of Tashkent to various services with reliable and high-speed. This will facilitate the development of converged services, such as high-speed Internet, video telephony, IP-TV, Telecom TV, HDTV-view channels, and others.
On the basis of the IP / MPLS network other projects will also be realized, such as:
• Building a network for national mobile operator in Uzbekistan - UZMOBILE GSM;
• Building a passive optical network by FTTx technology;
• Expanding the network of optical access by FTTB technology.
