This competition was arranged by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Physical Training and Sports and the country’s amateur and professional kickboxing association.

In this championship, more than 1,200 sportsmen competed for victory.

“The main goal of conducting this championship is to select talented young people and to include them in the ranks of the national team so that they participate in a worthy manner in the upcoming Asian indoor and martial arts games which take place in Ashgabat in September. That is precisely why we conducted this championship in accordance with international rules,” says Oybek Normetov, the chairman of the amateur and professional kickboxing association of Uzbekistan.
