LI KEQIANG HAS VISITED TO THE EMBASSY OF UZBEKISTAN IN CHINA AND EXPRESSED DEEP CONDOLENCES

According to News Agency "Xinhua", on September 5, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has visited to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in China to express condolences on the passing of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

Li Keqiang on behalf of the Chinese government has laid a wreath, made an entry in the book of condolences and expressed his deep sorrow on the death of President Islam Karimov.

Li Keqiang has said that China’s President Xi Jinping has sent to the leadership of Uzbekistan a special telegram of condolences, stressing that President Islam Karimov has been a longtime friend of the Chinese people who made an important contribution to promoting the development of China and Uzbekistan relations during his life.

"His death - is not only a great loss for the people of Uzbekistan, but also the loss of a sincere friend for the Chinese people. The Chinese government and people feel deep sorrow on his passing. China is willing to continue to make joint efforts with Uzbekistan to maintain and promote the progressive development of the comprehensive strategic partnership of China and Uzbekistan relations ", - Li Keqiang said.
