A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with representatives of the “Civil Service College” (CSC), during which prospects for further development of cooperation with our republic in the field of civil service, studying advanced foreign experience and its implementation in national practice were discussed, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Civil Service College” (CSC) was established in 1970 under the Government of the United Kingdom as the National School of Public Administration, specializing in the training and retraining of civil servants. Since 2012, CSC has operated as an independent educational institution, delivering modern curricula and implementing innovative approaches in professional development.

Today, CSC organizes both short-term and long-term professional development courses for civil servants from the United Kingdom and other countries. Its educational programs cover areas such as strategic management, public policy analysis, leadership development, human resource management and digital transformation.

Detailed information was presented on the systemic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at developing the civil service, building a talent pool and progressively enhancing the professional capabilities of managerial personnel.

The parties also discussed the joint development of educational programs, the organization of “train-the-trainer” courses, the introduction of online and hybrid learning formats, expert exchanges and the implementation of collaborative research projects.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize short-term professional development courses for the hokims (mayors) of cities and districts across Uzbekistan. Under the agreement, training may take place within Uzbekistan, in London, or in online format. Both sides confirmed their mutual interest in the consistent development of mutually beneficial cooperation and in the implementation of joint programs in the field of public administration.
