On May 11, 2015 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Speaker of Parliament of federal land Saxony Matthias Roessler.
During the meeting the status and priority areas for further development of relations between Uzbekistan and Germany in various formats and spheres were discussed, including in the framework of cooperation of our country with the European Union.
The intensification and expansion of cooperation of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the land parliaments and the German Bundestag, as well as the European Parliament, were noted at the meeting.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
