Meeting held between the First Ladies of Uzbekistan and Mongolia

As part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Mongolia, First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and the spouse of the President of Mongolia, Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg, held a meeting.

It was noted with satisfaction that the first-ever visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Mongolia and the high-level talks held have marked the beginning of a new stage in relations between the two countries. The parties discussed strengthening cooperation in education and cultural-humanitarian exchange.
Following the meeting, the First Ladies visited the Choijin Lama Temple Museum in Ulaanbaatar.

This architectural ensemble, built in the early 20th century, is considered a unique monument of Tibetan-Mongolian Buddhism.
During the visit, the First Ladies were informed about the temple’s architectural features, ancient sculptures, exhibits dedicated to traditional medicine, and the canon of Tibetan Buddhism.
Ziroat Mirziyoyeva also became acquainted with the museum’s cultural and educational activities, its role in tourism development, and its significance in the spiritual and moral education.
