On December 5, 2015, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait Ahmad Khaled Abdullah Al-Jeeran.
The Ambassador presented a copy of credentials.
The sides discussed the main directions of Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations, cooperation in the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the practical aspects of the forthcoming presidency of Uzbekistan in the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other topics of mutual interest.
