On August 29, 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden with residence in Stockholm Ingrid Tersman.
Ambassador presented credentials addressed to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the conversation the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the Uzbek-Swedish agenda and discussed the prospects of progressive development of bilateral relations in political, trade and economic and other spheres, as well as in the “Uzbekistan - European Union” format.
At the meeting some international and regional issues also was discussed.
