On May 20, 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodik Imomi.
The Ambassador presented copies of his credentials.
During the conversation the parties discussed some issues of the Uzbek-Tajik relations.
The sides exchanged views on the practical aspects of the participation of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the upcoming events in Tashkent in the framework of Uzbekistan’s presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Other issues of mutual interest are also discussed at the talks.
