Meeting with EEAS Deputy Secretary General

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Deputy Secretary General for Common Security and Defence Policy and Crisis Response at the European External Action Service Pedro Serrano, who arrived in Tajikistan to attend the high-level conference “International and regional cooperation on countering terrorism and its financing through illicit drug trafficking and organized crime”, in Dushanbe.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, at the meeting, the sides discussed current aspects of bilateral cooperation, including coordination of efforts in the Afghan direction.

Views were exchanged on practical issues of preparation for the forthcoming contacts at the highest and other levels.
