On February 3, 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed head of the World Health Organization Country Office Lianne Kuppens.
L.Kuppens presented the letter of the WHO Director-General Margaret Chan to the Minister on her appointment to Uzbekistan.
During the conversation the sides discussed the state and prospects of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the WHO, the implementation of joint projects and priorities for cooperation in the framework of the tasks of health care in Uzbekistan.
