MEETING WITH SCO SECRETARY GENERAL

On November 30, 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Rashid Alimov, who arrived in Uzbekistan heading the SCO Observer Mission at the Elections of the President of Uzbekistan, to be held on December 4.

During the talks the sides exchanged views on the practical aspects of the activities of the Observer Mission, which includes representatives of the Member States and the SCO Secretariat.

The sides also discussed the topical issues of further development of the SCO, the course of implementation of the decisions of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the organization, which was held in June in Tashkent.
