MEETING WITH SCO SECRETARY GENERAL

On March 15, 2016, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov, paying a working visit to China, had a meeting with the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Rashid Alimov in Beijing.

The sides exchanged views on the agenda of the SCO.

The Minister informed about the work which is being done by the Uzbek side on preparation for the SCO main events in Tashkent under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan.

The Secretary General highlighted that the presidency of Uzbekistan and the documents planned to be signed during the upcoming session of the Council of the Heads of Member States in Tashkent should be milestone in the 15 years history of the organization and should bring the multilateral cooperation to a new level.
