MEETING WITH SECRETARY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF ROMANIA

On May 14, 2015 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Secretary of State for Strategic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Daniel Yonitu, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the fourth round of ministerial political consultations.

At the meeting the state and prospects of bilateral relations in various spheres, including in the format of "Uzbekistan - European Union", the priority areas of cooperation in the framework of global and regional organizations were discussed.

The same day the political consultations were held, during which wide range of issues of Uzbek-Romanian agenda.

The sides stated for further deepening of political and inter-parliamentary relations, the strengthening of direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries, including representatives of small and medium businesses.

At the meeting the feasibility of expanding interchanges between institutions of education and health, culture and art was also discussed.

The talks were attended by the Ambassador of Romania Romeo Stanciu.
