MEETING WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF LITHUANIA

September 11, 2015, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has received the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania with residence in Moscow, Remigijus Motuzas.

The Ambassador has conveyed credentials addressed to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the discussion of topical issues of traditionally friendly Uzbek-Lithuanian relations, the sides noted the mutual interest in intensifying cooperation in various fields, including the intensification of inter-MFA dialogue and cooperation in the format of Uzbekistan - European Union in the framework of international organizations.

They discussed practical aspects of strengthening bilateral relations in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
