On August 11, 2015 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Lee Uk-hyun.
They discussed topical issues of the Uzbek-South Korean agenda, the implementation of agreements reached during the state visit of President Islam Karimov to the Republic of Korea in May 2015.
The sides reviewed the timing of the upcoming bilateral political consultations and other joint events, as well as preparations for the 9th meeting of the Forum on cooperation "Republic of Korea - Central Asia".
