The Ministry for the development of information and communication technologies of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Japanese NEC Corporation, headed by President Nobuhiro Endo, the press-service agency informs.
The meeting noted the long-term cooperation with NEC, which made a significant contribution to the development and digitalization of telecommunications networks and broadcasting of our country. The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation. They exchanged views on the development of digital terrestrial TV network in Uzbekistan, as well as the elaboration of new projects with the support of Japanese financial institutions.
Foreign parties expressed interest in cooperation with the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) to support the training of qualified personnel.
In addition, the delegation of the corporation within the visited TUIT, Center for Telecommunications Development and JSC Uzbektelecom.
