Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Administrator of USAID Mark Green.
Promising areas for implementation of joint projects, priorities of fruitful cooperation with the Agency in the context of growing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States were discussed at the meeting.
Mark Green confirmed the Agency’s readiness for full interaction with Uzbekistan and support for comprehensive reforms implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Special attention was paid to prospects of establishing and developing trade-economic, investment-technological ties between the countries. It was emphasized that investments in education will give the greatest return.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on dynamic expansion of contacts between Uzbekistan and the USAID at various levels.
