His Excellency Mr. Linas Linkevičius,

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania

Your Excellency,

It gives me a great pleasure to congratulate you on the occasion of the landmark date –the 25th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Lithuania.

Uzbekistan considers Lithuania as an important international partner with whom we achieved significant results in the development of long-term and multifaceted cooperation.

We highly value the mutually beneficial ties existing between our two countries, as well as an open and constructive dialogue at all levels.

Uzbekistan is committed to the continuation of the practice of mutual visits and further consistent expanding of relationship with Lithuania in political and inter-parliamentary spheres, economy and industry, culture and arts.

I am confident that the Uzbek-Lithuanian partnership based on the principles of mutual respect and equal consideration of interests will continue to strengthen in the years to come for the benefit of our nations.
