Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan visited Hungary

From 16 to 19 July, an official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, headed by Minister Aziz Toshpulatov, took place in Hungary, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, talks were held with the Minister of Interior of Hungary, Sándor Pintér, where both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in expanding cooperation in the areas of internal and digital security, crime prevention, cybersecurity, and personnel training.

The parties discussed prospects for experience-sharing, the introduction of modern technologies, and joint educational initiatives. Special attention was given to collaboration in combating terrorism, drug trafficking, cybercrime, as well as migration management and the protection of citizens’ rights.

The Hungarian side highly commended the level of safety associated with Uzbek nationals and expressed readiness to further deepen the partnership.

The talks concluded with the signing of a "Cooperation Roadmap" for 2025–2026, outlining concrete joint projects and activities in key areas.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan extended an invitation to his Hungarian counterpart to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.

This visit marked an important step in strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Hungary in the field of internal security and public order.
