The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan R.Davletov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan Jian Yang.
According to the Ministry, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the state of bilateral relations in legal sphere and prospects for development of further cooperation.
R.Davletov emphasized the close cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the PRC. In particular, he informed about the activities carried out within the framework of the Action Plan for cooperation in 2018-2020, approved between the Ministers of Justice of Uzbekistan and the PRC. He noted that the two-year Plan envisages a number of activities on provision of legal assistance, legal services and protection of the rights and interests of investors, advanced training of legal personnel.
Ambassador Jian Yang noted that the Action Plan envisaged for specific measures aimed at providing legal protection for citizens and business entities of the two countries and expressed readiness for providing full support in their implementation.
