The Grand Hotel Uzbekistan four-star hotel in Jizzakh was put into use after major renovation and refurbishment work.
An event has been held on this occasion. It was said at the event that on the basis of a programme for the socio-economic development of Jizzakh Region, adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, special attention was paid to the development of the services sector.
The Grand Tover LLC used its own resources and a preferential credit of 33 bn soms from the regional branch of the Asakabank to renovate an empty building and to turn it into this modern hotel. Builders of the Agrostandartplyus LLC carried out 49 bn soms worth of renovation and refurbishment work.
All the necessary conditions were created for guests’ stay and recreation in 4 modern apartments, 108 luxury rooms and 24 rooms of the hotel. Its restaurant, café, bar, internet club, library and conference hall for 80 people are equipped to international standards.
“Our region’s modern hotels are increasing in numbers. This new hotel which meets all the requirements of international standards is of important significance to the development of tourism in the region,” says Lola Sanayeva, plenipotentiary representative of the state committee for the development of tourism in Jizzakh Region.
At the event devoted to the opening of the hotel, E.Soliyev, acting hokim (governor) of Jizzakh Region made a speech.
