The Ministry of Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Korean delegation headed by Director General of a hospital under Chonnam National University, Yeun Tek Lim.
Yeun Tek Lim is the President of the Medical Association of the Republic of Korea, a well-known traumatologist-orthopedist, a leading expert on hip replacement.
The purpose of the visit was to conduct charity operations and examination of critically sick patients in the regions and organization of social support for low-income families.
The meeting discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of medicine, the issues of cooperation in the implementation of projects on the establishment of medical diagnostic centers in Uzbekistan, with the introduction of advanced technologies and solutions in the field of diagnostics and analysis.
Following the meeting, the Ministry of foreign trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the hospital under the Chonnam National University signed a Memorandum of understanding on the establishment of a modern medical diagnostic clinic in Uzbekistan.
