MODERNIZATION OF DENTAL SERVICES

Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan to strengthen the material-technical base of dental surgeries in public health facilities, according to Information Agency Uzbekistan Today.

The first large shipment of dental equipment was purchased a few years ago in the framework of the project "Health-2". Then, 250 of 570 sets of equipment established in rural medical stations, and the rest - in the central district multidisciplinary clinics.

The next biggest party acquired currently in the framework of the project "Health-3". In particular, it is planned to purchase 942 dental units with accessories. Experts estimate that the purchased equipment will be sufficient to complete the modernization of the service at the present stage.
