The Directorate of the NAC Uzbekistan Airways held a meeting with representatives of JSC Air Astana, with the aim of further expansion of bilateral cooperation.
The sides discussed the issues of development of passenger transportations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan with the purpose of increasing the tourist potential of the two countries. They also reviewed the cooperation in the maintenance and repair of air courts of JSC Air Astana on the base of aviation enterprise "Uzbekistan airways technics" and conducting a training for the Kazakh pilots.
Following the meeting, representatives of the two airlines signed a Protocol of negotiations. They agreed to increase frequency of regular flights from Tashkent to Almaty, Astana and back.
