NATIONAL EXHIBITION OF UZBEKISTAN IN TAJIKISTAN

“Made in Uzbekistan” National Exhibition was opened within the framework of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by President Emomali Rahmon, visited this exhibition.

As it is known, an agreement was reached between the two countries on establishment of a railway communication. Before getting acquainted with the exhibition, the heads of the states took part in the opening ceremony of the railway line “Galaba – Amuzang – Khushadi”. Presidents pressed a symbolic button, thereby giving an official start to the railway communication between the two countries.

Then the heads of states and members of the delegation got acquainted with the exhibition. Products of the automotive industry, agriculture, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil and gas, metallurgy, electrical and light industries, construction and craft products are widely represented here.

The President of Uzbekistan, introducing the President of Tajikistan to the products produced in Uzbekistan, drew attention to the need for further strengthening of cooperation.

The President of Tajikistan, in his turn, highly estimated the products of Uzbekistan and noted its wide range, proposed to create joint ventures.

The state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan continues.
