Negotiations between the official delegations of the two countries are continuing.

The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Egypt continue their negotiations with the participation of the official delegations of the two countries.

The issues of development of mutually beneficial cooperation in trade-economic, investment, innovative and scientific-technical, tourism and cultural spheres are being considered.
Economic cooperation is an important component of intergovernmental relations. It is necessary to continue efforts to develop trade and economic relations and increase trade turnover between the two countries. As noted in the negotiations, the sides have all the opportunities and resources to increase the volume of sales up to ten times in recent years.

Uzbekistan can export to the Egyptian market the most demanded electrotechnical, machine building, metallurgy, chemical and petrochemical, light industry, food, agriculture and other products. In Egypt, our country has the potential to export pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, carpets, furniture, curtains, petrochemical products, digital services, marble, ceramics, leather and plastic products.

Responsible authorities of the two countries were instructed to create favorable conditions for trade turnover, diversify and diversify the structure of the commodity turnover. The sides agreed to cooperate in the field of agricultural research and exchange of experience. Participation of representatives of business circles in exhibitions and fairs in Uzbekistan and Egypt, cooperation between regions of the two countries will be encouraged.

The Uzbek-Egyptian business forum, which is being held within the framework of the visit of the Egyptian President, was a continuation of these dialogues. Over 400 million dollars have been signed in this forum. This also indicates that there are great opportunities and resources in the economic sphere.
