New book about the history of Uzbek people

Presentation of the Russian edition of “History of the origin of Uzbek people” book by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Akhmadali Askarov was held at Wyndham Hotel in Tashkent.

The event was attended by historians, archaeologists, representatives of the public.

The process of formation of Uzbek people as a nation, the concept and peculiar aspects of the national mentality are investigated in the book published by the publishing and printing house “Uzbekiston”, and a profound scientific analysis of rich cultural and written sources is carried out.

Speakers at the presentation highly appreciated the book and noted that this monograph, consisting of 660 pages, will serve as an important scientific basis for further enriching the history of Uzbek people and will be among the best works created in recent years on the history of Uzbekistan.

The book is the fruit of 40-year archaeological research, finds, scientific and creative works. Recommendations are given for translating the monographs into English and other foreign languages.
