New opportunities of Uzbekistan – India cooperation

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi continued negotiations in an extended format.

This has been reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

India is one of the most populous countries with huge economic opportunities and developed industry. It is in the sixth place in terms of gross domestic product. It takes the leading positions in innovations, high technologies, programming, healthcare and services. India’s experience and technologies are important for Uzbekistan, which pays great attention to development of these spheres. Dynamically developing, and supporting investors Uzbekistan is a promising partner for India.

New opportunities for bilateral cooperation in trade-economic, investment, high technologies, medicine, pharmaceuticals, tourism and other spheres were discussed during the negotiations.
