Today, the application of electronic digital signature (EDS) in the field of electronic reporting and document management is becoming relevant and demanded. This is due to the fact that the use of EDS can provide the following functions of the system of electronic workflow and document management:
— Equivalence of the digital signature with a handwritten signature.
— Guaranteed protection of electronic documents (electronic messages) from any possible tampering.
— Unprovability of a person from the fact of signing the electronic document.
— Possibility of registration of the original documents only in the form of electronic documents to ensure their legal validity.
There is no need to explain the advantages of processing and registration of documents in the electronic form, they are obvious. This is flexibility in the creation, efficiency in treatment, significant reduction of overhead for documentation: paper, postage, etc.
A new service recently launched on the Single portal of state interactive services, called "Submission of electronic application to obtain electronic digital signature", allows individuals to apply for getting of EDS from anywhere.
After a few steps in the portal and making the payment for issue of EDS in the amount of 10 percent of the minimum wage, the user will receive a notification about the readiness of the EDS key.
