Official statement: We can stop the disease only by breaking the chain of the epidemiological process

Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary Epidemiological Supervision under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief Sanitary Inspector of Uzbekistan Nurmat Otabekov:

– The number of people infected with coronavirus in Uzbekistan reaches 145. According to the Research Institute of Virology, 20 patients undergoing treatment for this disease have symptoms of pneumonia. Three patients’ condition is severe, and two are stable. All patients are receiving necessary procedures and constantly monitored by medical professionals.

Dear compatriots!

The increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection calls on each of us to be even more vigilant. By staying at home and not engaging in unnecessary communication, we can break the chain of transmission of the disease. Let’s prevent ourselves! Let’s not carry a coronavirus infection. If we stay at home and adhere to quarantine rules, we can win this fight against the pandemic.
