It is planned to build an Olympic Village in Yashnabad district of the city of Tashkent to hold this prestigious event at a high level. The project of the facility was developed by the British engineering company Arup.

According to the project, an Olympic Stadium will be built in the center of the village, around it – indoor sports complexes, a water sports palace, training grounds, a rowing canal. All conditions will comply with the requirements of the Olympic Council of Asia and international sports federations. An administrative building, a hostel, a museum and economic facilities will also be erected.

At the previous meeting on the implementation of the nationwide project “Yashil Zamin” (Green Space), the President noted the expediency of planting flowering and deciduous trees along roadsides. At today’s presentation, the corresponding plans were considered.

For this, 21 streets of Tashkent were selected, including the Small Ring Road, Mustaqillik, Navoi, Islam Karimov, Afrosiyob, Shakhrisabz, Oybek, Babur.
