The opening days often displays maestro’s works of visual arts of Uzbekistan, academician Marat Sadykov. He is known to all as a consummate painter.
Marat Sadykov’s work is multifaceted and balanced, and his paintings radiate some light of kindness, are the soul of not tall but always smiling person. Sadykov subtly conveys the beauty of the seasons, revealing the fullness of autumn’s bright colors or wet and cloudy pre-winter’s hazy misty. Watercolor play of color and light creates a special visual effect, is unattainable in oil or graph. The artist, working in this difficult technique in the open air, must have a special skill, since the paper with printed image dries with incredible speed. These factors allowed him painstakingly to develop an authorial style, to depart fr om plot’s literal veracity to generalize and symbolism.
— The world of painting is beautiful, I am happy to share my inspiration, emotions, feelings with the audience, — said the artist. — I would like to fill visitors’ souls with light and warmth, for whom the environment would have been opened with new dimensions and colors.
The author paints Bukhara with love, wh ere he was born and raised. The ancient city forever charmed the young man, left a deep mark on his soul. “Noon”, “Suburb”, “My street” are many others home town that is amazingly welcoming, hospitable and mysterious in watercolor. Haze and slight blur of lines create an atmosphere of comfort, peculiar to peace and tranquility of the East. Randomly scattered planes of walls and roofs are harmonious with a kind of rhythmic Eastern ornament, tune in a philosophical mood. Rich in cultural and historical memory of many generations gave mythology the Pearl of the East. Bukhara’s epic in combination with a pulsating shimmering watercolors give a mysterious effect to Sadykov’s works. The artist came to this combination not at once, trying himself in different techniques and genres, and has experimented for many years
Sadykov is also known as a good teacher, able to explain to students the nuances of different techniques in painting, selection of colors and tonal layers of paint, and many other intricacies. Fifteen of his students have taken place as artists over the last twenty years that genuinely pleases the master. Despite his advanced age, he now gladly gives master classes at colleges and boarding schools. He improves himself and shares the accumulated experience with younger generation.
A jubilee personal exhibition of the academician Marat Sadykov “Moments of eternity” has been exhibited in the Art Gallery of Uzbekistan. He has been awarded the Gold medal of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan at the opening ceremony for his contribution to the development of national school of painting and the upbringing of creative youth. It has been said many warm words.
