The draft decree was devised in accordance with the directive of the Head of the state and is a logical continuation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On priority measures to mitigate the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic and global crisis phenomena on the economy”, of 19 March 2020.
The document provides for additional benefits, preferences and other important measures to mitigate the negative impact of the pandemic on the country’s economy and living standards.
The President instructed responsible persons to include specific measures in the draft decree that are aimed at strengthening social protection of single elderly persons, people with disabilities and low-income families, saturating the market with food supplies and medicines, preventing the growth of prices for them, preventing the reduction of working capital of business entities and providing them with additional benefits.
Activity on perfection of the draft law is in full swing.
