On 3 November 2016 Acting President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on the initiative of the Kazakh side.
During the conversation the parties exchanged views on the issues of further development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations in political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres.
The parties have expressed satisfaction with the pace of implementation of the bilateral agreements, reached between various ministries, agencies, corporate bodies and other organizations.
Furthermore, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed some regional and international issues, underlining the need to continue consultations on the issues of mutual interest.
The conversation was held in a constructive mood, in the spirit of the relations of friendship and good-neighbourliness between the two countries.
