On September 4-5, 2018, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the upcoming high-level summit, it is planned to discuss the perspective areas of development of Uzbekistan – Egypt cooperation, exchange views on current international and regional problems.
Following the negotiations, it is expected to adopt a Joint Statement of the Heads of States, and sign intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents on strengthening and expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt in political, trade-economic spheres, in tourism, science, education, culture and sports.
