ON THE WAY TO STRENGTHEN EFFECTIVE COOPERATION

The Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation from the People’s Republic of China headed by the Deputy Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), honorary chairman of the Chinese Association for Friendship with Central Asian countries (CAFCA) Chen Yuan.

According to the lower house of parliament, during the meeting it was noted that China is one of the leading positions among the partners of Uzbekistan. In a short historical period between the two countries to establish an open and fruitful political dialogue on a wide range of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. They are based on personal contacts at the highest level, including in the framework of the SCO summit.

At the regular meeting, the sides discussed issues concerning the current state and prospects of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.

It was also stressed that today the Uzbek-Chinese relations have ample opportunity to enable countries to summarize the experience and reach a new level, both in the sphere of inter-parliamentary relations, as well as in the economic, political and other spheres.

Chinese officials stressed the high level of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries, the importance of further cooperation, including in the field of parliamentarism.
