OPTIMIZATION OF BUSINESS PROCESSES AS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR TRADE FACILITATION

UNDP project "Promoting trade" jointly with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) "Promoting regional trade in Central Asia" hosted round table, devoted to the optimization and reengineering of business processes, issuing permits for export and import operations, www.infocom.uz reports.

Specialists of the Main State Inspection for Plant Quarantine under the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of the Ministry of Health, the Agency "Uzstandard", JSC "Uzbekekspertiza", Center for the Development of "Electronic government" attended the event, as well as UNDP project "Promotion of trade", "Business Forum of Uzbekistan" and "Promotion of e-government to improve the quality of public services".

During the round table international expert A.Kuznetsov (Latvia) presented options for optimized process issuing a phytosanitary certificate of hygienic conclusion, certificates of conformity and origin using the methodology of the system of symbols for modeling business processes.

Thus it identified a number of opportunities to simplify the delivery of documents, aimed at reducing contact with the applicant, the time to address the financial and economic issues.

As a result of round table expressed interest in further practical implementation of the proposals to improve the efficiency of the ministries and departments by improving business processes.
