On the pages of newspapers Pakistani Election Times and Daily Ittehad published a series of articles devoted to the achievements of Uzbekistan in the socio-economic sphere, as well as the development of the judicial system of the republic.
As noted in one of the materials in the path of independent development of our country has made significant progress. In support of this publication quoted a speech by President Islam Karimov at the celebrations dedicated to the 24th anniversary of independence: "It is no exaggeration to say that over the years of independence, in a short historical period, we have gone equal to centuries, and today Uzbekistan is a modern, dynamically developing state. The economy of the years of independence has grown more than 5.5 times, real income per capita - 9 times, average life expectancy has increased from 67 to 73 years and for women - up to 75 years, and these figures will surely nobody will impress".
The publication reported that the country now ranks fifth in the world among countries with rapidly developing economies in the past eleven years, despite the ongoing global economic crisis, the growth rate of gross domestic product, up more than 8 percent, causing the admiration of many.
Election Times writes that the leadership of the republic should have proclaimed the principle of "reforms - not for the sake of reform, and for the people" and to achieve the goals of the course are strictly adhered gradual, evolutionary development.
In turn, Daily Ittehad stresses that according to the most authoritative international economic and social centers, Uzbekistan is currently on the "World Happiness Index" takes the 44th place among 158 countries of the world, and the first - among the CIS countries.
Pakistani media also talk about Samarkand held International conference "Actual issues of improving the criminal justice: experience of Uzbekistan and foreign practice".
Sources say that during the event there were discussed issues concerning the ongoing reform in this area, as well as to further improve the criminal, criminal-procedural legislation.

Finally, the publication are the views and responses to foreign experts who participated in the international conference. In particular, they commend the reforms conducted in Uzbekistan and noted that during the years of independence, among other areas, our country has achieved much success in the liberalization of the judicial system.
