POLLING STATION READY FOR ELECTIONS

At Navoiy town’s polling station No 37 for the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, all the necessary conditions have been created for voting to be held at a high level.

The polling station has been provided with all the necessary equipment, information-communication technologies, voting booths, norm-setting regulatory acts on the country’s electoral legislation and propagation booklets. A medical room and a room for mothers with children have been set up.

“2665 voters have been registered in our territory. Special attention is being paid to raising the law culture of voters, specifically young people who will be voting for the first time, and to familiarizing them with the essence and significance of the national electoral legislation,” says the deputy chairperson of the electoral commission, Gulnora Ajimambetova.
