President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a Decree on awarding the Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Muller with Dustlik (Friendship) Order of the Republic of Uzbekistan for his great merits in development and strengthening multifaceted and fruitful cooperation of Uzbekistan with the World Bank Group, a strategic partner of the country in carrying out large-scale economic reforms and implementing programs to modernize priority sectors of Uzbekistan, for his personal contribution to fundamental changes in the banking, financial, fiscal, agricultural and other spheres, practical assistance in implementation of major investment and infrastructure projects, as well as activities to increase Uzbekistan’s international prestige and support initiatives aimed at strengthening friendship, good-neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation in the Central Asia region.
