PRESIDENT BECAME FAMILIAR WITH ACTIVITIES OF THE CENTRAL MILITARY DISTRICT'S OFFICE

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the second day of his trip to Samarkand, got acquainted with activities of the office of the Central Military District and the unit of the National Guard in the city of Samarkand.

The Head of the state was provided with information on activities that are being held in Samarkand military-administrative sector.

During the conversation with soldiers and officers, reforms in the system of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan were considered. It was noted that systemic changes implemented in this direction contribute to provision of troops with modern weapons, military equipment and communication means, training highly qualified officers, improving the potential of the national army and strengthening the country’s defense capability.

President became familiarized with activities of the Central Military District’s Office

At the meeting, the need was noted for improving the living conditions of the military personnel, providing them with housing.
