The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan has ended.
Significant agreements were reached following the rich program of bilateral meetings and joint events.
The Head of the state held meetings with Emperor of Japan Naruhito, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, leaders of parliament and members of the government, leaders of Japanese business, in Tokyo.
A Joint Statement was signed on further deepening and expanding the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Japan, intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, as well as investment agreements and trade contracts.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Saint Petersburg to attend the informal CIS Summit.
